Political Career

• Khemaram Meghwal contested from Sujangarh Assembly in 2003 for the first time.  BJP candidate Khemaram defeated Master Bhanwarlal of Congress by more than 14000 votes.
• Khemaram Meghwal, who became a first-time MLA, was made Minister of State for Public Works and Minerals in the Vasundhara government.
• Khemaram Meghwal gave many new gifts to Sujangarh in his first term, of which the Apani scheme was the most prominent.
• In the 2008 assembly elections, Khemaram lost to Meghwal Congress candidate Master Bhanwarlal by just 13000 votes.  Former BJP MLA Rameshwar Lal Bhati helped Congress win more than 14000 votes.
• In the 2013 assembly elections, Khemram Meghwal again defeated the Congress candidate by more than 14000 votes.  But this time BJP rebel candidate Rameshwarlal was somehow persuaded.  Khemaram Meghwal's second term as MLA was a golden period of development in Sujangarh.

• Launched Aapni Scheme, announced 20 years ago from the dust of paper, and landed on the soil of the ground.

• In Sujangarh, the Ladnun Bye Pass Road, which was always torn from the railway station to Ladnun Chungi Naka, converted the road into a cemented road giving a good height.

• Till 2003, Sujangarh had 1,84,000+ small and big lanes where there was no road, electricity, water and drainage.  BJP Minister Khemaram Meghwal constructed a paved road in all these 1,84,000+ lanes.  Provided electricity by installing electric poles.  Drinking water pipeline was delivered to the drinking water tap.  Made the drainage of dirty water by making strong drains.
• As of 2013, during the tenure of Congress from 2008 to 2013, due to ignoring problems and increasing population, about 50000 new small and big lanes were present in the entire Sujangarh Vidhan Sabha constituency including proper roads, electricity, drinking water and drains. There was no system.
• BJP candidate Khemaram Meghwal, while an MLA, provided roads, electricity, drinking water and drains in all these 50,000 lanes.
• During both tenure of BJP candidate Khemram Meghwal, constructed paved roads with cemented and block roads in many villages of Sujangarh assembly constituency and in many main roads of the city.

All BJP leaders and activists in Churu district along with BJP MLA Khemram Meghwal demanded a CBI inquiry into Vishnu ji's suicide or death.  But the Gehlot government canceled the general consent of the CBI probe and stayed the CBI investigation.Today, in the Congress regime, the spirits of criminals are high and honest police officers are forced to commit suicide.
• BJP MLA Khemram Meghwal opened a government college in Bidasar.The Congress ignored the city of Bidasar during its 40-year rule. The BJP did development work by considering Bidasar as equivalent to Sujangarh city.
• Due to the grace of Salasar Balaji, on the entry of Salasar to Sujangarh, grand roads and over bridges were constructed in the BJP government.  Improved traffic for pilgrims coming to Salasar Dham.  Where 50 thousand devotees used to come in the first year, today lakhs of devotees can visit Salasar Balaji's darshan by rail and road.  Suri airstrip was constructed in the BJP government, where the devotees from the country and abroad were able to come.  The local people of Salasar got more employment opportunities. Tourism got a boost in Salasar, Talchhapar and Sujangarh. Salasar Dham and Tal Chhapar were neglected during the 40 years of Congress rule.  Damage to tourism in the region.  Historical heritage and havelis were broken down which reduced the number of tourists visiting here.
• During the tenure of BJP MLA Khemram Meghwal, Sujangarh was selected in the top 100 cities of the Modi government's Amrit Yojana of the Center. Sujangarh received an amount of ₹ 100 crore per year for development works. In this scheme, government schools, colleges and offices in Sujangarh were linked with technology. Sewerage line was laid in the city.  Public toilets were constructed in the city. Modi Park as Nature Park in the city was developed in the Nathotalab area. RO plants were set up at many places in the assembly area. Strengthened the power supply by increasing the number of GSS to the city.
• Along with this, many development works have been sanctioned in the city like laying underground power lines, making drinking water system more efficient, constructing modern public toilets, setting up sewerage plants, disposal of Gannanios, building new parks. But in the Municipal Council, the Board of Congress acted as a hindrance in many development works.
• Started new faculty and courses at Government Sujala College, Sujangarh. Provided modern library for Sujala College students.vConstructed a bus stand for the students of Sujala College. Built a good road for students going to Sujala College. Sujala College provided better drinking water and separate toilets for students. Construction work of 2 crore 38 lakhs has been done in Sujala College, which has classrooms, laboratory and badminton court etc. Sujala College increased the number of lectures and staff and met many of the students' demands. The Congress neglected college students during its 40-year reign. Could not even provide toilets.
• For the first time in Muslim majority wards of Sujangarh, paved roads, better electricity and adequate drinking water system, pucca drains for drainage of dirty water were constructed in 2 term of BJP candidate Khemaram Meghwal. (2003-2008 and 2013-  2018)
• BJP minister Khemaram Meghwal in his first term approved the proposal to make Bidasar a full-fledged tehsil.  (2003 - 2008)
• While being a BJP MLA, Khemaram Meghwal gave a new panchayat committee to Bidasar.  After which the people of the villages of Bidasar Tehsil do not have to come to Sujangarh Tehsildar and Panchayat Samiti to get their work done.  (2013-2018)

• In his first term, BJP Minister Khemram Meghwal placed large garbage vessels at these garbage heaps.  Implementing the waste disposal system by taking the garbage of these garbage vessels out of the city every morning in trolleys (tenure 2003-2008)
