He was born and raised in an upper-middle-class family.
Imran grew up with his four sisters in Mianwali in north-western Punjab in Pakistan.
Growing up in prosperous conditions, Imran received a privileged education from Aitchison College in Lahore and the Royal Grammar School, Worcester, England.
It was at the Royal Grammar School in Worcester, England where he learned his cricket.
