He has roots in America, Canada, South Africa, and Pennsylvania is also of Dutch ancestry.

 At age 10, Elon began to teach himself computer programming after developing an interest in the Commodore VIC-20 (Computer).

 He sold his first video game, 'Blastar' to 'PC and Office Technology' (a magazine) for $ 500.  He was just 12 years old at the time.

 As a child, he was heavily inspired by Isaac Asimov's book 'Foundation Series'.

 In 2018, Musk tried to assist rescuers in the 'Tham Luang Kew Rescue Operation', in which a junior football team (a cave in Thailand) was trapped. SpaceX and their engineers from The Boring Company built a wild submarine in Thailand to rescue children, called 'wild boar'. By the time their submarine arrived in Thailand, eight of the twelve children had already been rescued, so the government of Thailand did not use their submarine.
